Application and Background Check Fee: $200 one time, nonrefundable.
Matriculation Fee: $1500 one time, nonrefundable.
Tuition: Trimesters 1 through 6: $5000 per Trimester
( Tuition is fully refundable within the first seven days of each trimester. )
Trimesters 7 through 12: $8000
(Tuition is fully refundable within the first seven days of each trimester, Tuition includes cost of malpractice insurance.)
Clinical Rotation Proctor Fee, Trimesters 7 through 12: IMU pays proctors a standard fee to each proctor. Students must pay the difference for any fees assessed on clerkships arranged by the student. These fees are subject to change and must be verified with IMU Administration at the time clinical rotations are arranged.
Lab Fee: $350 per year, payable trimesters 1 and 4.
Textbooks: Subject to change. Students are required to purchase their textbooks. For an updated list, contact IMU's
Room and board (must be individually arranged): $700 - $1000 US per trimester.
Lab coat fee: $70.
Stethoscope fee: Approx. $110. Students are required to obtain
before arrival in Belize.
