Prerequisite courses must be of a post-secondary level.

General Biology or Zoology (with lab): 8 semester/12 quarter credit hours.

General or Inorganic Chemistry (with lab): 8 semester/12 quarter credit hours.

Organic Chemistry (with lab): 8 semester/12 quarter credit hours.

Mathematics: 4 semester/6 quarter credit hours, which can be satisfied by taking any combination of Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and/or Calculus.

General Physics (with lab): 4 semester/6 quarter credit hours.

Biochemistry and Basic Statistics are strongly recommended.

Keyboard and computer skills are essential.
