IMU was accredited by the Government of Belize in August 2003.
IMU graduating students who register with the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and pass the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) Steps 1 and 2 are eligible to train at accredited residency programs in the
